New rod manufacturing methods allow the manufacturer to control performance and operation more precisely. This allows Guideline to remove unnecessary materials from all parts of the rod to make it as light as possible without compromising the stability of the rod. These rods are durable, have excellent control, are shock resistant and provide high casting speed. Their action is characterized by a light and fast tip response, good stability and a smooth, progressive arc movement. 12' #7/8 and 13' #8/9 Rods: These are the lightest rods Guideline has ever made for this length and casting weight. Their fast action and immediate response make them ideal for fishing small to medium rivers, especially for salmon and trout fishing. They are perfect for all types of casting, from jigs to multi-strand nylon line. 14' #9/10 and 15' #10/11 Rods: These powerful rods handle all types of nylon line with ease. These models have a thicker tip than the shorter models and are lighter than the versions mentioned above. Designed for longer nylon line, stronger winds and heavier nylon line, they are incredibly light and perfectly balanced! The rods have a matte finish with a slight sheen. Their natural graphite gray color with a characteristic spiral pattern is covered with a thin layer of matte varnish without added dyes. The carbon residue is collected in a special tank before the water used in the production process is discharged to the local sewage treatment plant.
The cable is made of 3A cork without rubber gaskets, which reduces the use of epoxy resin.
The metal parts of the sleeves are anodized, and no pigments, lead or chromium are added in this process. This is the most environmentally friendly method.
Each spool uses biodegradable epoxy adhesives with very low levels of contamination. This tested and approved product is of high quality and has a low environmental impact. This ensures better working conditions during the installation of the posts and reduces health risks.
The posts are equipped with KW guides that prevent the cables from twisting. These guides are made of stainless steel with a dark gray powder coating. They are extremely durable, strong enough and are a lead-free alternative to toxic chrome.
The mast cover and outer sheath are made of recycled REPREVE™ polyester.
The pipes are made of recycled polypropylene (PP), which is lighter and 20% thinner than traditional PVC pipes. This saves space and reduces transportation costs. PP is very durable and can be melted into pellets for new products.
